Support Groups in New York
I lead small, process-oriented support groups for adults across New York. Groups offer something individual therapy can’t - the experience being known by more than one person, and of recognizing yourself in others.
Male Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA)
A confidential, trauma-informed in-person support group for adult men who experienced childhood sexual abuse.
Many male survivors carry shame, emotional isolation, difficulty with intimacy, or confusion about identity and sexuality. This group offers a space to process these experiences alongside others who understand the complexity of being a male survivor.
In this group, members work toward:
Finding that you’re not alone in what you’ve carried
Understanding how these experiences have shaped your relationships and sense of self
Building emotional awareness and the capacity for intimacy
Developing trust in others and yourself
The group is small enough that everyone in the room gets to matter. Sessions are rooted in safety, respect, and relational depth.
Learning & Process Group for Newer Therapists
A reflective virtual support group for therapists within 1–5 years of clinical practice.
This group provides space to explore transference and countertransference, burnout and identity development as a clinician, self-doubt and impostor feelings, and the relational dynamics that arise in clinical work.
The group is process-oriented and designed to foster professional growth, emotional resilience, and deeper clinical insight.
My Approach to Groups
Groups are intentionally small and depth-oriented. Rather than focusing solely on skills or didactic material, sessions emphasize relational awareness, vulnerability, and meaningful reflection. Members are supported in exploring patterns as they emerge in the room, creating opportunities for authentic connection and change.
If you're interested in joining a group, I'd welcome the chance to connect and answer any questions you might have.
