On the outside you seem capable and “fine”

But inside things feel a lot more complicated.

You might:

  • Find yourself pulled into the same relationship dynamics no matter how much you want things to go differently

  • Struggle with self-doubt, emotional ups and downs, or a lingering sense of disconnection

  • Feel exhausted by the weight of everyone else’s expectations - and your own

  • Carry the imprint of past experiences or traumas, including complex trauma, childhood sexual abuse, or chronic emotional neglect

Therapy offers a space to slow down and tune into what’s happening beneath the surface.

My Approach

I offer a warm, engaged, and collaborative space where we can slow down and explore what feels most important. Together, we focus on understanding the deeper patterns shaping your emotions, relationships, and sense of self. I pay close attention to what’s happening beneath the surface, including within our therapeutic relationship, because meaningful change often begins there.

  • Work that goes beneath symptoms to the patterns underneath them

  • Attention to dynamics in relationships, including the one we build together

  • Body-based approaches for trauma that lives in the nervous system

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples who feel stuck in the same cycles

Therapy offers a different kind of relationship: one where you don’t have to hide parts of yourself

Some themes that often bring people to my practice include:

  • Burnout, exhaustion, and feeling that something has to change

  • Relationship patterns that repeat and feel hard to shift

  • Complex trauma, childhood sexual abuse, and chronic emotional neglect

  • Grief, ambiguous loss, and the disorientation of life transitions

  • Questions of identity, including gender, sexuality, and LGBTQ+ experience

  • Persistent self-doubt, shame, or a harsh inner critic

  • Anxiety, depression, and the feeling that this is just how things are

  • Going through the motions, disconnected from yourself and others

You don’t need to see yourself exactly here for this to be a good fit.

Services

Individual Therapy

For adults who want to understand themselves more deeply: what drives them, what holds them back, and what it might look and feel like to live differently. We work with your full history, your present experience, and what unfolds between us in the room.

Couples Therapy

Most couples come in not because they've stopped caring, but because they've gotten caught in cycles that leave both people feeling alone. Using an Emotionally Focused approach, we work to understand those cycles, reach the feelings underneath them, and build toward a more secure and responsive connection.

Adolescent Therapy

Therapy for teens navigating identity, relationships, family, and the particular pressures of adolescence. I work collaboratively with both young people and their families.

Support Groups

Process-oriented groups that offer the kind of insight and connection that comes from shared experience. Current and upcoming groups available upon inquiry.

Ready to Begin

The first step is a brief, low-pressure consultation, a chance to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and see whether this feels like the right fit. There's no obligation, and no preparation required.
